- [Instructor] While creating straight line paths just requires clicking the mouse, creating curved paths takes a little bit of practice because you need to click and drag with the mouse. So, right now I have Path 2 targeted in my Paths panel. So, I'll just want to make sure that I click in this empty area so that I don't have any paths selected. Then, we'll just zoom in using Command+ and navigate to this curved paths area. I have the pen tool selected and I'm going to show my guides. So, under the view menu, I'll choose Show and then Guides and we're going to use these guides as we click and drag the direction lines to create our curved path. So, I don't want to just click and let go of the mouse, I'm going to click and drag up. Now, I'm not drawing technically the line segment right now. All I've done when I release the cursor is I've set down my anchor point and I'm telling Photoshop what direction I want the path…
