- [Instructor] All right, now it's time for us to learn to draw some more complex paths, and we're going to learn a few keyboard shortcuts as well because we need to figure out how to convert a curve path to a corner point as well as how to split the direction lines. And I find it's much more efficient to do this using shortcuts, than to constantly have to select different tools. So we already know one keyboard shortcut, when we have the pen tool selected. If we hold down the control key on Mac the command key on Windows, that will toggle between the pen tool and the direct selection tool. If we have the pen tool selected and we hold down the option key, that is going to be the shortcut to convert point tool and this is going to be really handy, when we need to change directions.
